Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a hospital setting specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. This role involves providing competent clinical nursing care for patients undergoing complex procedures, with a focus on fetal monitoring, C-section circulation, and triage in a dedicated surgical environment. The position requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safety and quality care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: - Current and active Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification completed through AWHONN or GE - Previous operating room experience in labor and delivery (L&D) - Ability to circulate for C-sections - Ability to triage OB patients - Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited school - Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers (AHA or ARC) - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA or ARC) - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
