Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Operating Room Saint Louis, Missouri. This position provides direct patient care in a fast-paced Operating Room setting, supporting surgical patients across all age groups. The role requires expertise in robotic, laparoscopic, microsurgery, and neurosurgery procedures, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Experience with robotic, laparoscopic, microsurgery, and neurosurgery procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, navigate multiple computer systems, solve problems effectively, and provide quality care in an Operating Room setting
- Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
- Schedule: Days; 4x10-hour shifts; minimum of 40 hours per week. Weekend coverage as needed, with call rotation per unit.
- Additional Information:
- Flu vaccination is required from November 1 through April 1; exemptions require approval from the facility.
- Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of direct patient care, as well as coordination with ancillary departments to promote patient care and comfort.
- Patient population includes surgical patients across all age groups.
- Black scrubs are required and are provided for the Operating Room.
