Job Summary:
The operating room nurse (RN) position is located in the Indiana area. This role involves circulating surgical cases, managing all nursing care within the operating room, observing the surgical team from a broad perspective, and assisting in creating and maintaining a safe, comfortable environment for patients' surgeries. The position is scheduled for day shifts, with additional on-call responsibilities.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Dayshift, 4-10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with 1-2 on-call shifts per week from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS, ACLS certifications, at least 2 years of experience with a level 1 or 2 trauma center, DaVinci Robot experience, neuro-spine and cranial surgery experience, and Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric Operating Room experience, orthopedic trauma experience.
- Additional Information: Candidates must attach required licenses and certifications with submission. Travelers must include a drivers license and permanent home address matching the ID, and be located more than 50 miles from the facility. Local candidates are not accepted. The position is for one opening due to vacancy.
