Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) nurse position available in a healthcare facility in the vicinity. This role involves providing perioperative patient care across various specialties, including orthopedic, gynecological, robotic, urology, general, ENT, spine, and trauma cases. The position requires competence in multiple surgical procedures and adherence to specific schedule and call requirements.
Job Details
- Certifications and Qualifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and prior travel experience required. PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred. Minimum two years of OR experience.
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Must work NYE and New Years Day call shifts.
- Responsibilities: Providing surgical assistance in a variety of specialties, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining sterile and safe environment throughout procedures.
- Additional Information: Prior travel experience required. Competency in orthopedic, total joints, fractures (ankle/hip), gynecology, robotic, urology, general, ENT, orthopedic spine, and trauma surgeries is necessary. NO BLOCK SCHEDULING will be accommodated. All demographic information must be provided at submission. RTO or schedule requests must be included at the time of application; post-submission approvals will not be granted.
