Job Summary
Operating Room position supporting orthopedic and spine surgical procedures across inpatient and outpatient settings. The role includes circulating responsibilities for total joint, hand, foot and ankle, spine, robotic, general, urology, gynecological, bariatric, vascular, plastic, and thoracic cases.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts consisting of four 10-hour shifts per week, totaling 40 hours per week. Call coverage is required for three shifts every six weeks and may change. Assignment dates are 11/16/2026 through 02/15/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; at least 2 years of relevant experience; valid compact license in hand at submission; required charting system experience; proficiency with orthopedic and spine procedures, including total joint replacement, spinal fusion, laminectomy/discectomy, arthroscopy, arthrotomy, open and closed reduction of fractures, carpal tunnel release, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, minimally invasive surgery, and XLIF (Extreme Lateral Interbody Fusion).
- Preferred Qualifications: Scrub experience; experience with the MAKO Surgical System; Jackson table or Hana table experience; ability to support complex spine and total joint procedures.
- Additional Information: The position requires circulating duties and supports approximately 20 daily cases in a 10-room setting. The patient population includes adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, with approximately 2025% inpatient, 7580% outpatient, and 5% pediatric cases. Robotic, general, urology, gynecological, bariatric, minor vascular, plastic, and thoracic cases may be included.
