Job Summary

The position requires clinical independence, organizational skills, and experience in scheduling OR cases.

Job Details

  • Shifts: Nights, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CNOR preferred.
  • Education & Experience: Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience, with at least thoracic and vascular surgical experience required to independently take call, and 1 year of travel or OR experience preferred.
  • Responsibilities include functioning as charge nurse for night shifts, managing case schedules, setting up OR rooms, and ensuring timely case starts. The role may involve floating to other ORs within the facility.
  • Additional Details: Will be required to work 3 out of 5 holidays, with upfront requests for specific scheduling. No call is required for the night shift position. Candidates must have a valid compact license and at least 1 year of recent OR experience.
