Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Baker City, Oregon. This position involves working a 12-hour day shift from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, with call responsibilities including weekends and holidays. The role requires flexibility to stay beyond scheduled hours to ensure patient care coverage and support surgical cases running past normal shift times.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, 1 year of experience in operating room nursing, and relevant certifications.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with OR procedures and relevant specialty certifications are highly desirable.
  • Additional Information: Call coverage includes two to three 12-hour shifts per six-week schedule on weekends and holidays. Call shifts may extend up to two hours past regular shift hours and are compensated as on-call time. Some shifts may extend until 9:15 PM or 9:15 PM for 12-hour staff. Candidate must be adaptable to coverage needs and willing to work scheduled call shifts.
