Operating Room nursing position responsible for providing direct patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and healthcare protocols. The role coordinates multidisciplinary care, monitors patient conditions, supports discharge planning, and requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Two years of experience in an Operating Room setting; active nursing license; ability to perform circulating duties.
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week; scheduled shift time is 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include implementing and monitoring patient care plans, documenting and communicating patient conditions, coordinating care across disciplines, carrying out physician and nursing orders, and supporting discharge planning. The role requires Operating Room circulation, participation in call rotation, and holiday work as needed. Standard Precautions and required personal protective equipment must be followed.
