Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse operating room (OR) in the Florida area. This position involves scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures within a busy surgical department. The nurse will be responsible for preparing the operating room, coordinating supplies and equipment, and serving as a communication liaison among surgical team members, patients, and families. The role requires adherence to aseptic techniques and standards, with a focus on patient safety and efficient intraoperative care.

Job Details:

  • Location: Bradenton, Florida

  • Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week

  • Start Date: 09/08/2026

  • Required Qualifications:

    • Must live at least 100 miles away from the facility
    • Experienced in Robotics, Orthopedic, and Urology surgeries; other specialties preferred (excluding eyes, hearts, thoracic, and vascular)
    • At least 2 years of operating room experience
    • Certifications: ACLS, PALS, and BLS
    • Certification preferred: CNOR
  • Additional Information:

    • Call required 4-5 times per month, including at least one weekend day; weekday call from 1700 to 0630 with a 30-minute callback time.
    • Days off following call depend on operational needs or next-day availability.
    • The nurse will ensure all equipment and supplies are available and functional prior to procedures.
    • The role involves adherence to aseptic techniques, standard operating procedures, and intraoperative patient care planning.
