Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse - Nashville, TN. This position involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care in a dynamic surgical environment. The role supports a variety of surgical procedures, utilizing advanced equipment and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.

Job Details

• Position Description: The role encompasses delivering nursing care in the main operating room, supporting neurosurgery, ortho-spine surgery, orthopaedics, oral/maxillofacial surgery, plastics, colorectal, robotic general surgery, bariatric, ENT, urology, thoracic, vascular, and endovascular surgeries.
• Required Qualifications: Certified Surgical First Assistant (STFA) or Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA), CPR/BLS certification; properly registered nurses in Tennessee or a compact state; minimum of 1 year of multi-year OR experience in the current role; minimum schedule of 10 hours per shift, working days, 36-40 hours per week, with call shifts as needed (no more than 1/week).
• Preferred Qualifications: Endovascular experience, DaVinci robotics experience, and Meditech charting experience are preferred.
• Additional Information: Experience in the hospitals specific procedures and familiarity with related equipment such as DaVinci Xi robots, Mazor robots, and Stealth Navigation is advantageous. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high standards for patient safety and team collaboration. Floating policy allows for coverage within other ORs on campus during low census periods.
