Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in the specialty of Surgery is needed at a healthcare facility. This position involves providing perioperative patient care, assisting in surgical procedures, and maintaining patient safety in a fast-paced environment. The role requires clinical expertise in orthopedic surgery and adherence to safety standards.
Job Details
- Location: The healthcare facility requires a 12-hour day shift, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with call responsibilities.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS are required.
- Education Requirements: Degree accreditation must be on profile or a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Experience: 2 years of OR RN experience, with strong orthopedic experience, is required.
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS and ACLS, active FL/compact license, active EPIC electronic health record experience, and minimum 2 years of OR RN experience with orthopedic specialization.
- Additional Information: Prior travel experience is preferred. Flexibility for floating to other operating rooms at sister campuses may be required.
