Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Main OR position requiring compact CO RN licensure and at least 1 year of recent acute care OR experience.

Details

• Work in the Main OR department of a hospital setting with 284 beds and a staff of 55
• Patient ratios are estimated at 1:1 to 1:2, though not guaranteed
• Utilizes DaVinci Robotics equipment
• Uses Meditech / CPN EMR system
• Day shift staffing includes 1 Charge RN, 1 Trauma RN, and 1 Trauma Tech
• Night shift staffing includes 1 RN, 1 Tech, plus 2 RNs and 2 Techs on-call
• 13-week assignment with a 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM shift schedule
• On-call required from 5 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute response time and no overnight coverage
• Performs vascular/hybrid OR, trauma, and neuro procedures

Requirements

• Active RN license, CO or compact, required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care OR RN experience required
• Robotics experience highly preferred
• Experience at large trauma OR facilities preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration

• Self-motivated, positive, team-oriented candidates are the best fit for this unit
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates will not be considered
• First-time travelers may be considered if they meet the required experience and certifications
