Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a Level III Trauma Center. This role involves providing competent nursing care for patients undergoing general, neuro, spine, ortho, robotic, and vascular procedures. The OR Nurse practices independently, demonstrates clinical expertise, and collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position offers flexibility in shift scheduling and requires a team-oriented, adaptable healthcare professional.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 10:00 AM 10:00 PM shifts available, with flexibility for 11:00 AM 11:00 PM or 12:00 PM 12:00 AM. Working 4 days of 10 hours or 3 days of 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred; 2 years of experience in operating room or related nursing specialty preferred. Licenses, registrations, or certifications include BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), PALS (American Heart Association), and RN License in the state of Texas or a compact license.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Level III Trauma Center is preferred.
