Job Summary
The healthcare provider is seeking an Operating Room (OR) Nurse for a position based in the adult surgical unit. The role involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care within a busy surgical environment, supporting a variety of procedures including general surgery, surgical oncology, gynecology, orthopedic, neuro, ENT, plastics, burn, urology, and podiatry. The position offers an opportunity to work with advanced surgical technology, including robotics programs.

Job Details

• Position: Operating Room (OR) Nurse
• Location: Adult surgical unit at a healthcare facility with a 22-bed OR and a staff of 120, providing general surgical services.
• Certifications: Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Education & Experience: Certified or licensed as an RN with a current valid license. Experience requirement: 0 years minimum.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Start Date: 11/09/2026
• End Date: 02/08/2027
• Responsibilities include assisting during a wide range of surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, preparing operating rooms, and collaborating with surgical teams.
• Additional information: The role may involve rotating on-call shifts averaging two 8-hour shifts per month, and adherence to hospital policies and dress codes.
