Operating Room (First Assistant) Massachusetts
This position involves providing specialized assistance within the operating room setting. The role requires supporting surgical teams during procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes, and adhering to clinical protocols and safety standards.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days, 10 hours shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license, current/active Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), and at least 2 years of current operating room experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech Expanse is highly preferred.
- Additional Information: Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency license (Nursing Pool) must be uploaded with candidate profile. Candidates must have their own vehicle, include their perm address in the profile, and provide at least two specific interview availability times. Travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility are ineligible. RTO requests must be included with the profile and no more than 5 days may be approved. Candidates must work during scheduled holiday blocks, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. All scheduling requests should be made at the time of submission; requests made after an offer may be rescinded. All travelers must have recent work history and supervisory references from within the past two years.
