Job Summary
Operating Room First Assistant (ORFA) Location: Not specified. This role involves providing advanced surgical support during various procedures, including robotics, bariatric, general, colorectal, orthopedics/spine, vascular, urology, and gynecology surgeries. The position requires prior scrubbing and circulating experience in the operating room to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: At least 3 years of experience as an Operating Room First Assistant, with proficiency in robotics, bariatric, general, colorectal, orthopedics/spine, vascular, urology, and gynecology surgical procedures; BLS, CRNFA certifications; valid license in the required state.
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 11/03/2026 and ending on 02/02/2027.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have experience in scrubbing and circulating in the operating room, with a preference for those proficient in the listed specialized procedures. May be required to work in on-call rotations, including kidney call rotations Monday through Friday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Saturday and Sunday 24 hours, and general call rotations. Candidates should be flexible to work holidays and potentially float between nearby facilities as needed.
- Submission Requirements: Must include responses to questions regarding prior work at a Providence facility and provide two references covering at least one year within the last three years prior to start.
