Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med Surg/Oncology RN for a night shift travel contract requiring telemetry experience and oncology (ONC) certification.

Details

• Med Surg/Oncology unit with 15 beds
• Staffed with 3 RNs and 1 PCT per shift
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Uses telemetry monitoring equipment
• EMR system is Meditech
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Oncology (ONC) certification required for all RNs working in Oncology
• Telemetry experience required
• Stroke experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in telemetry/oncology specialty
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Care for oncology and telemetry patients on a 15-bed unit
• Navy scrub color required
• Positive, team-oriented personality preferred
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, local candidates not accepted
