Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology RN for an outpatient infusion therapy clinic requiring chemo/biotherapy certification and current Epic experience.

Details

  • Outpatient infusion therapy clinic within an Adult Hematology/Oncology unit
  • 8-chair infusion setting treating adult patients ages 18-100
  • 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
  • 8-hour day shift, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 40 hours per week
  • No weekends, no call, and no holiday requirements
  • No floating or charge nurse responsibilities required
  • Uses Epic documentation system

Requirements

  • Active VT or Compact RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an outpatient Infusion/Oncology setting required
  • Must be certified in chemotherapy and biotherapy administration
  • Must be trained in administering chemotherapy in a clinic setting
  • Epic experience within the past 2 years required
  • Complete work history including bed count, EMR, and facility type required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide infusion therapy and oncology nursing care to adult patients in an outpatient clinic setting
  • Any color scrubs permitted; no nail polish allowed
  • Reliable personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended, as public transportation is not accessible in the area
  • Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April
  • Employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
  • Local candidates accepted
