Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in West Hollywood, California.

Assignment Highlights
- Start Date: November 16, 2026
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
- Shift Hours: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Patient Volume: Approximately 30–40 patients per day
- Setting: Outpatient urology clinic
- Floating: Required
- Weekend Requirement: None
- On-Call: Not required
- Orientation: 80 hours
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients with urological and oncological conditions.
- Support patients with bladder, kidney, prostate, and ureteral cancers.
- Assist with symptom management, pain management, and medication administration.
- Perform or assist with Foley catheter insertion and management, bladder scans, cystoscopy-related care, bladder installations, and post-void trials.
- Provide IV therapy and infusion support.
- Monitor patient conditions and recognize and communicate abnormal lab results.
- Support post-surgical care, care coordination, and telephone triage.
- Recognize oncologic emergencies and signs of sepsis.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Epic.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience, including at least 1 year of oncology experience.
- Active California RN license at the time of submission.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Epic charting experience.
- Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted.
- Flu vaccination required; no exemptions or declinations accepted.
Preferred Qualifications
- ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification.
- PALS certification.
- Experience caring for patients with bladder, kidney, and prostate cancers.
- Phlebotomy skills and experience starting and maintaining IVs.
Important Assignment Details
- No scheduling requests can be accommodated.
- Floating between units or locations may be required.
- The clinic sees approximately 30–40 patients daily.
- The position is based at 8700 Beverly Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90048.
