Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology RN for an outpatient ports/injections clinic, requiring current ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification and EPIC experience.

Details

• Outpatient oncology clinic setting supporting ports and injections
• Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Schedule options of four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts per week
• Likely day off on Fridays for those working four-day schedules
• Uses EPIC for charting

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Current ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy course certificate required
• 3+ years of current outpatient oncology or medical infusion experience required
• 1+ years of outpatient experience required
• Strong IV skills required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Administer oncology medication injections and manage port access for outpatient cancer center patients
• Local candidates accepted if permanent residence is 60+ miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston
• Candidates without recent outpatient oncology/infusion or EPIC experience will not be considered
