**Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Nurse in Oncology!** **Job Description:** - Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse specializing in acute adult oncology care, specifically focused on leukemia & lymphoma. - Evaluate patients and assist physicians with comprehensive patient care. - Plan, implement, and document individualized nursing care based on patient needs. - Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient priorities for care. - Develop, implement, and coordinate tailored plans of care through ongoing assessments. - Initiate assessments based on patient problems, physician diagnoses, and functional health frameworks. - Perform therapeutic nursing interventions aligned with best practices. - Manage care for patients in a fast-paced inpatient setting. - Document care meticulously according to standards and clinical priorities. - Advocate for evidence-based practice standards in nursing care. - Deliver patient-centric care consistent with professional nursing practices. - Embrace flexibility with other assigned duties and responsibilities. **Skills Required:** - **Experience:** Minimum of two (2) years in acute adult oncology nursing, specializing in leukemia & lymphoma in an inpatient setting. - **Hard Skills:** Proficient in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and basic nursing skills. - **Education:** - Required: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN). - Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). - **Certifications & Licensure:** - Required: - BLS - AHA - NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license. - Preferred: - Telemetry certification - Chemotherapy certification with ONS. **Schedule Details:** - Shift: Oncology / MS Tele, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM - Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts with weekend and holiday requirements as needed. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
