Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology RN for a day shift contract position requiring KS or compact RN licensure.

Details

  • Work in the oncology treatment area of a hospital setting
  • Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM
  • No weekend, holiday, floating, or on-call requirements
  • Orientation includes HR onboarding followed by on-floor training

Requirements

  • Active KS or Compact RN license required, in hand
  • Current BLS certification required, in hand
  • Prior oncology or infusion nursing experience required
  • New graduates will not be considered
  • Experience accessing ports, starting IVs, and hanging IV medications is preferred but not required
  • 2-step TB test or blood draw completed within the past 12 months required
  • Hep B, Varicella, and MMR immunization records or titers completed within the past 12 months required
  • TDAP vaccination required

Additional Information

  • Provide direct patient care in an oncology treatment setting
  • Credentialing documents due the Wednesday prior to start date
  • Clock in and out using facility systems and mobile app
