Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology RN for a busy outpatient infusion practice, requiring recent chemo administration experience and a GA or compact RN license.

Details

• Outpatient oncology infusion practice supporting exam visits, nurse triage visits, and treatment patients
• Administers immunotherapies and biotherapies for oncologic and hematologic diagnoses
• Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent oncology experience required
• Chemotherapy administration experience required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care including exam visits, triage, and infusion treatments for oncology and hematology patients
• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
• Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
