Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Oncology unit requiring an active MA RN license and offering night shift assignments.

Details

• LTAC Oncology unit setting
• Patient population requiring chemotherapy administration and diagnosis management
• Uses Epic for charting
• Night shift schedule (19:00-07:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Primary source license verification required within 30 days of start via NURSYS and BON
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Interpret plans of medical care and apply clinical decision-making for individualized nursing care
• Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects
• Maintain accurate patient records including vital signs and condition changes
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Modify treatment plans based on patient response and condition
• Local candidates accepted if residing within 60 miles of Boston, with rate adjusted accordingly
• Time is tracked using UKG/Kronos
