Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Oncology position requiring recent oncology experience and chemotherapy certification with the ability to administer chemotherapy.

Details

  • Work in the Radiation/Oncology unit of a hospital setting
  • 8-hour day shift schedule, 5 shifts per week, with shift start times varying between 7:30am-4pm and 8am-4:30pm
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

  • Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
  • Current certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and Chemotherapy Certification
  • Minimum 2 years of recent oncology nursing experience required
  • Must be able to administer chemotherapy

Additional Information

  • Provide oncology nursing care including chemotherapy administration
  • Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
  • Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
  • Returning staff who previously worked permanently at the facility must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
  • Requested time off must be submitted upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
