Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology RN for a Cancer Center position requiring chemotherapy certification and administration experience.

Details

• Work in the Cancer Center/Oncology unit of a hospital-based outpatient clinic setting
• Schedule follows an 8-hour day shift, Monday through Friday from 7AM to 5PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA state or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Chemotherapy certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in oncology nursing required
• Must be able to administer chemotherapy

Additional Information

• Administer chemotherapy and provide oncology nursing care to cancer center patients
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
