Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring a KS or compact RN license and at least 2 years of oncology experience.

Details

• Adult Oncology Unit assignment within a hospital setting
• 13-week contract with night shift hours from 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Cerner OneChart EMR used
• May be required to float to like units on the same campus or another campus within Wichita
• Ceil blue scrubs required

Requirements

• Active RN license (KS or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• MOAB Moderate Risk de-escalation training required
• Current license and primary source verification (Nursys) completed within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to adult oncology patients
• Must have a US Social Security Number and US home address for consideration
• Radius rules apply, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on facility location
• Travelers should discuss extension opportunities with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date
