Description

American Traveler is hiring a night-shift RN for an Oncology Med/Surg unit requiring at least 2 years of nursing experience and an IN or compact RN license.

Details

  • Work on a 16-bed Oncology Unit for adults
  • Patient population includes oncology, hematology, end-of-life/hospice, and overflow Med/Surg cases
  • Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
  • 13-week assignment length

Requirements

  • Active IN or compact RN license required
  • BLS certification required (must be AHA)
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

  • Responsible for patient assessment, intervention, medication administration, and documentation in EHR
  • Implement and monitor plans of care and assist with ADLs
  • Follow through on physician orders and observe patient status changes
  • COVID vaccination is not required
  • Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on facility location
  • Clinicians must have a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
