Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology RN for a night shift position requiring ONS Chemotherapy & Biotherapy certification and prior travel experience.

• Oncology unit setting
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Uses EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner EMR

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• ONS Chemotherapy & Biotherapy certification required
• Minimum 1 year total travel experience required (does not apply to LVNs)
• 6+ months of continuous travel experience immediately preceding consideration
• 1.5 years of continuous experience in oncology specialty required
• EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner experience within the last 6 months required
• Copies of required certifications must be submitted; no pending certifications accepted
• One supervisory-level professional reference required

Additional Information

• Interview availability required
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates residing within a 100-mile radius are not eligible (exception for LVN/LPN candidates)
• Candidates on assignment in San Diego for 9+ months or more are considered local and are not eligible
• Former permanent staff or travelers may reapply after a 1-year separation
• Maximum RTO of 7 days permitted at time of submission, with no additional requests afterward
