Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Oncology/Women's Surgical Unit. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment, delivering exceptional patient care and demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt in a complex medical setting. This role involves providing care to patients, overseeing staff, and adhering to unit guidelines and policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced oncology/surgical environment.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Perform assessments, manage care, and provide education related to chemotherapy and surgical interventions.
• To assist with procedures such as pelvic exams, echocardiograms, and thoracentesis as needed.
• Maintain high standards of practice while following hospital policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License
• BLS Certification
• Chemotherapy Certification is preferred
