Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Oncology/Women's Surgical unit maintaining a patient ratio of 1:4 or 1:5
• Perform and assist with unit procedures including occasional pelvic exams, echocardiograms, and thoracentesis
• Document and manage patient information using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, CNAs, and HUCs across day and night shifts
• Participate in weekend rotation, with staff expected to work 6 weekend days per schedule period
• Float to other med-surg units on a rare basis as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Proficiency with standard unit equipment and clinical workflows

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Chemotherapy (Chemo) Certification — candidates with this credential will be given priority consideration
• Prior experience in an oncology or women's surgical care setting
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR
