Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg-Oncology RN with 2+ years of recent experience for a night shift position requiring AL or compact RN licensure.

Details

Work on a 18-bed Oncology unit within a hospital setting
Patient population includes oncology, palliative, post-op bariatric, and med/surg overflow cases
Patient ratio of 6:1
Uses computer, IV pump, vital sign machine, and other basic medical equipment
EPIC EMR used
3x12 night shift schedule, 18:45-07:15
Every other weekend required
No on-call requirements
Floating required as needed

Requirements

Active AL or compact RN license
Current BLS and NIHSS certification (AHA only accepted)
Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
Acute care experience preferred

Additional Information

Provide compassionate, patient-oriented nursing care to oncology and med/surg patients
Team seeks responsible, dependable, hardworking, and kind individuals
Navy scrubs required; only scrubs and scrub jackets are acceptable attire
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
No local candidates accepted
First-time travelers may be considered
