**Join Our Dynamic Oncology Team!** **Job Description:** - **Unit Information:** - Number of Beds: 21 (Census currently around 8-12) - Types of Staff: - Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 3/4 RNs, 1 PCT - Night Shift: 1 Charge RN, 3/4 RNs, 1 PCT - **Patient Ratios:** - Estimated 1:3/4, flex to 5 - **Equipment and Technology:** - Baxter Pumps - EMR: Meditech - **Hiring Profile:** - **Must Have Skills:** - Oncology Background - **Preferred Skills:** - Hematology/Oncology Background - Chemotherapy Certification - **Typical Procedures:** - Replacing Blood and Electrolytes - **Ideal Candidate:** - Compassionate and caring nature - **Requirements:** - Required Certifications: RN, BLS - **Floating Areas:** - Hematology/Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplant - **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color: Royal Blue - **Unit Guidelines/Policies:** - Neutropenic Precautions - Strict Intake and Output Monitoring - CHG Bath and Linen Change: Every 24 Hours - Dressing Change: Every 7 Days - Line and Cap Maintenance: Every 96 Hours - No Children Under 16 Allowed - **Schedule:** - Rotating Weekends, No On Call **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
