Staffmax Healthcare is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a travel job in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
13-week Radiation Therapist assignment with 40 guaranteed hours per week, working 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM–4:30 PM. The Radiation Therapist administers prescribed radiation treatments, performs treatment simulations and basic dosimetry functions, fabricates treatment blocks, and manages daily treatment schedules. The role requires independent judgment, close collaboration with physicians and nursing staff, and participation in holiday coverage as needed. No on-call requirement. Requirements: Minimum 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience
Active Massachusetts Radiation Therapy/Radiology license
Current ARRT certification
Current AHA BLS certification
Previous travel experience preferred
Own reliable vehicle required
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
Current Radiation Therapist skills checklist and one recent supervisory reference required
All required licenses and certifications must be active at the time of submission
