Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology RN for a Nurse Coordinator/Navigator position in a clinic setting, requiring a MA RN license and prior oncology experience.

Details

  • Ambulatory clinic setting within a Hematology/Oncology unit
  • Solid tumor unit with 27 treatment bays/clinic exam rooms
  • Nurse Coordinator/Navigator role
  • 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
  • Schedule runs 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • No call, weekend, or holiday requirements
  • No floating required
  • Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required in hand
  • BLS certification (AHA) required
  • Chemo biotherapy certification highly preferred
  • Prior oncology experience required
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR required
  • Knowledge of infusion/case management preferred
  • Must complete Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing
  • COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)

Additional Information

  • Coordinate and navigate patient care within the oncology clinic setting
  • Work alongside a clinical team supporting solid tumor treatment
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
  • Local candidates are not accepted for this role
  • Previous employees (travel, perm, or per diem) at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility must have a 6-month break before returning and be in good standing
  • First-time travelers may be considered for this position
