We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med Surg and Telemetry to join our team in Columbus, OH. Position Overview: The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients diagnosed with various health conditions, including those requiring telemetry monitoring. Our unit emphasizes infection prevention protocols and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
• Monitor telemetry readings, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond appropriately to changes in patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and utilize rapid response teams as needed.
• Utilize computerized charting systems to accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Med Surg/Telemetry nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Work Schedule:

• Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30).
• Staffing ratios aim for 1:4, but may be adjusted based on unit needs.
• Weekends are variable based on unit needs.
