Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Oncology/Infusion position in East Tennessee, requiring chemotherapy/infusion experience and ONS/ONCC Chemo Certification, with a Monday–Friday day shift schedule and no nights, weekends, or holidays.
Details
- Outpatient oncology/infusion center setting with multiple locations across East Tennessee
- Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
- No nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call required
- Floating required across multiple infusion centers in the region, including Maryville, Lenoir City, Downtown, Oak Ridge, and other centers based on staffing need
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active RN license — Tennessee (TN) or Compact license required
- Current certifications: BLS (AHA) and ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification required
- NIHSS certification required (may be obtained after offer)
- Prior chemotherapy and/or infusion nursing experience required
- Ability to float to multiple clinic locations across the region
Additional Information
- Candidates will be connected with the CNO upon offer — she requests a conversation with candidates either before accepting or before starting the assignment
- RTO during holiday periods will not be accommodated; affected dates include Valentine's Day, local Spring Break (3/9–3/15), Easter (4/5), Mother's Day (5/10), Memorial Day week (5/22–5/25), Father's Day (6/21), Independence Day (7/3–7/5), Labor Day, local Fall Break (10/5–10/11), Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day
- Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility may be eligible but will be considered at a reduced pay rate relative to travelers
- RTO requests may be discussed directly with the manager after arriving onsite using the RTO form
