Description
Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Santa rosa, California.
Job Description & Requirements

- Outpatient oncology and infusion clinic setting
- Approximately 6 infusions and 1–2 port draws per day
- First-time travelers accepted
- No weekend shifts required
- No on-call requirement
- Local candidates accepted
- Familiarity with Alaris infusion pumps and CADD ambulatory pumps required
Your Role
- Administer and monitor chemotherapy and other infusions.
- Perform port draws and provide port and central-line care.
- Administer blood and blood products as needed.
- Monitor patients for infusion reactions, extravasation, and other oncologic emergencies.
- Provide symptom management and monitor patients for treatment-related complications.
- Maintain safe infusion practices and accurate clinical documentation.
✅ Required Qualifications
- Active California RN license.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
- Previous outpatient oncology or infusion experience required.
- Current BLS certification.
- Oncology certification through ONS or ONCC required.
- Experience administering and monitoring chemotherapy.
- Familiarity with Alaris infusion pumps and CADD ambulatory pumps.
- Experience with IV therapy, infusions, port care, and central-line management.
⭐ Preferred Qualifications
- EPIC charting experience.
- Previous travel experience is not required.
