Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Assistant OT SNF Massachusetts. This role involves providing rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting. The position requires collaboration with supervising Occupational Therapists to support patient recovery and progress.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions, administers procedures such as ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices under supervision. Assesses patient progress and communicates outcomes to the supervising Occupational Therapist, provides consultation to patients and families, and documents all required information in electronic records.
  • Required Qualifications: Active State Licensure/Registration, Level II OTA experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation (Rehab), familiarity with clinical documentation, and a minimum of 1 year of OTA experience.
  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Must be able to work with supervising Occupational Therapist to obtain necessary DME or supplies, support and supervise students under supervision, and adhere to all practice acts, ethics, and standards. Participation in mandatory meetings and trainings is required.
