Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist - Outpatient with Certified Hand Therapist credentials and Level I trauma experience for a day shift assignment.

Details

  • Outpatient occupational therapy setting within an orthopaedic center
  • Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
  • 13-week assignment length

Requirements

  • Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) required
  • Level I trauma experience required
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • NBCOT certification required
  • Utah state license required (license required if applicable)
  • Pending Utah license accepted, but must be in hand prior to start
  • Skills in orthotics, modalities/manual skills/therapies, and activities of daily living required
  • Preferred skills include pediatric care, biofeedback, cardiac rehabilitation, edema massage, electrical stimulation, feeding techniques, TENS, and ultrasound

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers will be considered for this position
  • Candidates who live within the state of Utah are considered local; candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate
  • Local candidates are not accepted for this position
  • Previous full-time employees of the facility are not eligible to return as travelers under any circumstances
  • Orientation includes required modules completed on the first day, averaging approximately 2 hours
