Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in accordance with individualized care plans
- Evaluate patient functional abilities and develop appropriate treatment goals
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' daily living and functional skills
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with facility standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated patient care
Required Qualifications
- Active OT or COTA license in the state of New Jersey
- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy or Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Ability to work day shift hours for the duration of a 14-week contract
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
