Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to home health patients across primary service areas including Clark, Edgar, Effingham, Champaign, and Madison Counties
- Treat approximately 8 patients per day, with a productivity expectation of a minimum of 6.5 points per hour, typically including 3–4 evaluations
- Manage and self-schedule daily patient visits with flexibility to adjust visit order as needed
- Work with a predominantly post-acute patient population
- Provide supervision to one COTA as part of the therapy team
- Maintain current CPR certification in compliance with department requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license — must be in hand at time of submission
- CPR certification required
- Home health experience is required
- Experience with Home Care Home Base (HCHB) software is required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience treating post-acute patient populations
- Experience supervising COTAs or rehabilitation aides
- Strong self-management and independent scheduling skills
