Contract | Travel | Days | 13 Weeks | 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM | Rotating weekend coverage
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to an adult and geriatric inpatient population across a wide variety of diagnoses and treatment needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Float to the Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) as needed to support patient care demands
- Document patient assessments, progress, and treatment plans accurately using Cerner EHR
- Participate in rotating weekend coverage as scheduled
Required Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license required per state licensure requirements
- Education meeting state licensure requirements for Occupational Therapist
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage a varied caseload
- Flexibility and ability to function effectively as a team player in a dynamic inpatient environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations in an inpatient setting
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records
- Adaptable mindset with a willingness to learn and work across varied clinical scenarios
