Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (5x8 Hours, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | Must be available to work weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services in an acute care inpatient hospital setting
- Evaluate and treat orthopedic patients, including those seen on the day of surgery
- Deliver therapy services across a 7-day-per-week schedule, including weekends and select holidays
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Float to sister facilities nearby the contracted location as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Current BLS certification
- NBCOT certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience
- Inpatient orthopedic experience required
- Must be willing to work weekends and commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ICU experience is helpful
- Prior travel contract experience in an acute care environment
