Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (times may vary); one weekend day every four weeks with a flex day during the week; holiday coverage required (one day between 12/25–12/27)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy evaluation and treatment services in an inpatient setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment approaches as appropriate
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient recovery and discharge planning
- Adhere to facility policies, regulatory standards, and professional practice guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of Illinois
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience
- Non-local candidates only — local candidates are not eligible for this position
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an inpatient hospital setting
- Familiarity with acute care patient populations and interdisciplinary team collaboration
