    Key Responsibilities
    • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction.
    • Manage a full hand therapy caseload within an outpatient orthopedic and hand therapy setting, including fabrication of splints.
    • Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines.
    • Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs support effective return to community activities.
    • Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs as assigned, including supervision, learning objective development, and student evaluations.
    • Adhere to discipline-specific state practice acts and regulatory requirements, and actively pursue continuing education and professional development.
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Occupational Therapist licensure in good standing in the state of Florida.
    • Demonstrated experience in outpatient orthopedic and hand therapy.
    • Proficiency in splint fabrication and management of a full hand therapy caseload.
    • Ability to complete thorough clinical documentation in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
    • Experience participating in clinical student programs and providing supervision and mentorship.
