    Occupational Therapist (OT)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days | Monday–Friday (3 days 8:00 AM–4:30 PM and 2 days 9:00 AM–5:30 PM) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide outpatient occupational therapy services to a pediatric population ranging from birth to 18 years of age
    • Evaluate and treat up to 10 patients per day, including 45-minute treatment sessions and 90-minute evaluations
    • Address a variety of diagnoses including sensory processing challenges, brachial plexus injury, fine motor delay, and Autism Spectrum Disorder
    • Maintain active Illinois Occupational Therapy licensure throughout the duration of the assignment
    • Adhere to a drug-free campus policy, including producing a negative drug screen for all panels
    • Follow department-specific orientation protocols, including use of a provided orientation binder and preceptor support
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license (or confirmation that the application process has been initiated)
    • BLS certification required (may be completed upon hire)
    • Minimum of 1 year of pediatric occupational therapy experience
    • Must comply with drug-free campus policy and pass a drug screen for all panels
    • Candidates with a permanent address within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local rate adjustment
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working with children presenting with sensory processing disorders, brachial plexus injuries, or Autism Spectrum Disorder
    • Inpatient experience preferred for candidates interested in optional weekend coverage
    • Comfort working with a high patient volume in an outpatient pediatric setting
