Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and treatments to patients in an inpatient or acute care setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients' functional abilities and independence
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
Required Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license valid in the state of Tennessee
- Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current NBCOT certification
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel therapy experience
- Experience in an acute care or hospital-based occupational therapy setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
