Key Responsibilities
Evaluate hospitalized patients to assess physical and cognitive functional abilities
Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans for inpatient populations
Provide therapeutic interventions aimed at restoring daily living skills and functional independence
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to facilitate safe and timely patient discharge planning
Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of Inpatient Rehabilitation (IPR) and Acute Care Occupational Therapy experience (required)
Active Michigan Occupational Therapist state license in good standing
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
NBCOT certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience working in a tertiary or teaching hospital environment
Familiarity with trauma center or high-acuity inpatient settings
