Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | 8-Hour Shifts | 40 Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions to support patient recovery and rehabilitation goals
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation team members to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of Texas
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current NBCOT certification
- Experience working in a rehabilitation or inpatient setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital environment
- Familiarity with a wide range of diagnoses commonly treated in rehabilitation settings
